    URIC ACID

Uric acid is produced by the breakdown of purines. Purines are nitrogen-containing compounds found in the cells of the body, including our DNA. If too much uric acid is produced or not enough is removed, it can accumulate in the body, causing increased levels in the blood (hyperuricemia).

The uric acid test is used to measure levels of uric acid in your blood in order to help diagnose gout. It’s also used to monitor uric acid in people undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer This blood test is used to check for gout and also monitor people undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer

No specific patient preparation protocol required. Inform your doctor if you are on any medications or have any underlying medical conditions or allergies before undergoing this test.

The presence of excess uric acid can cause gout, a condition characterized by inflammation of the joints due to the formation of uric acid crystals in the joint (synovial) fluid. Excess uric acid can also be deposited in tissues such as the kidney, leading to kidney stones or kidney failure.

    RENAL FUNCTION TEST

A group of tests that are performed together to evaluate kidney function. The tests measure levels of various substances, including several minerals, metabolites and electrolytes in the blood to determine the current health of your kidneys.

These are tests that are used to evalute how well the kidneys are functioning. Such tests include blood urea, nitrogen (BAN) ,creatinine, totat birubilinand electrolytes This is a panel of blood tests that check if your kidneys are fuctioning well.

No specific patient preparation protocol required. Inform your doctor if you are on any medications or have any underlying medical conditions or allergies before undergoing this test.

    ELECTROLYTES

Electrolyte panel is a blood test that measures the levels of electrolytes such as Potassium, Sodium, chloride, bicarbonate and calcium in the blood. They keep your body’s fluilds in balance and keep your body working normally, including Heart rhythm, muscle contraction and brain function.

Electrolyte panel is a blood test that measures the levels of electrolytes such as Potassium, Sodium, chloride, bicarbonate and calcium in the blood. They keep your bodys fluilds in balance and keep your body working normally, including Heart rhythm, muscle contraction and brain function. This test measures the levels of electrolytes (Sodium, Potasium, Chloride, Calcium) in blood to check for an electrolyte imbalance.

No specific patient preparation protocol required. Inform your doctor if you are on any medications or have any underlying medical conditions or allergies before undergoing this test.

The electrolyte panel measures the blood levels of the main electrolytes in the body: sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), chloride (Cl-), and bicarbonate (HCO3-). Electrolytes are minerals that are found in body tissues and blood in the form of dissolved salts. As electrically charged particles, electrolytes help move nutrients into and wastes out of the body’s cells, maintain a healthy water balance, and help stabilize the body’s acid/base (pH) level. The electrolytes also help in the proper functioning of the nervous and endocrine systems, and in bodily cell to cell communication.
