This vaccine is given orally (through the mouth) or via injection.
A child receives a minimum of 4 doses.

Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine
Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine is a combination of pneumococcal vaccine and conjugate vaccine. It administered to protect infants, young children, and adults against diseases caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae.
NB: This vaccine is provided freely by the government.
It is given by injection.
A minimum of 3 doses.
- 1st dose- 6 weeks
